What is culinary tour?

Culinary tour or food tour is a subset of Cultural tourism which defines as a professionally guided tour or trip to a new destination with the purpose of exploring local foods and beverages, process of preparing ingredients, tasting, smelling, eating and may include hands-on workshops. Cooking and eating in a foreign country may be the surest and truest way to its soul!

How long does my Persia Taste culinary experience last?

The time which you will spend with us vary from 2 hours in Persian gourmet walk up to 10 days traveling around Iran.

How much does my Persia Taste culinary experience cost?

Based on your preferred tour and menu, it will cost between 35 – 80 Euros per person for the same day activities. We should mention that longer tours and tours with special amenities may cost more.

Can I try (eat) what I make during my experience?

Of course you can! You will be with us to learn and touch the deeper layer of Iran cuisine culture which can be reached just by having and trying the final result!

Saeideh – Founder and Host

The first of PersiaTaste Team is Saeideh. In her family, being a good cook is a characteristic which has been transferred from generation to generation. Studying B.A and M.A in tourism marketing and her thesis on culinary tours besides passion about cooking, persuades her to establish Persia Taste in which she could show Persian Culture through the hatch of foods. She loves to talk about Persian foods and tastes stories.

Homa – Host

Growing up in south part of Fars province (with capital of Shiraz), Homa is expert about very special dishes which are inspired from the nomads in south of Iran. Her unique recipes will open your eyes to a new aspects of Iran foods!

Goli – Host

Next in PersiaTaste Team is Goli. Once meeting Goli, you will surprise how energetic and cool she is! Being a mom, Goli knows the secrets of being a great cook. Since she is a tour guide, she has a good knowledge about Persian backgrounds. As her guest in Tehran, she do whatever it takes to give you an unforgettable experience and memory of your food tour!
